With 16 years of experience, Kiono Barnes has been redefining what it means to have an amazing and healthy smile.
Schooling
Dr. Barnes graduated from Biloxi High School. He earned a bachelors degree in science at Florida A & M University. He then went on to earn a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
Local
Dr. Kiono L Barnes was born in Lansing, MI. He was raised in Diberville on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Practice
Dr. Barnes completed a postgraduate general practice residency at the Biloxi VA in 2005. After being displaced by Hurricane Katrina, he managed a practice in Atlanta, GA for one year. In 2006 he relocated back to the coast where he practiced as a contract general dentist for a year at Keesler Air Force Base. In early 2007 he began Dental Concepts, where he has been practicing ever since.

Latoya Dixon - Office Manager
I have worked at Dental Concepts with Dr. Kiono Barnes since 2011. Originally as a receptionist and then becoming the Office Manager in 2016. I enjoy working with the best doctor and well rounded staff knowing as a team we will help our patients achieve a healthy and beautiful smile they can be proud of. As a certified MBAC, I also take great pride in helping our patients with any questions they may have regarding their treatment plan, insurance or financial needs. Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my husband Henry, our 4 children, family, and connecting with our extended family and friends. I also enjoy music, comedy, meeting new people, traveling, shopping and watching sports especially my Pittsburgh Steelers. I look forward to meeting you and assisting you with all the aspects of you continuing to have a healthy smile!!
