It is recommended that everyone have a general cleaning at least twice a year to remove calculus that cannot be removed by normal brushing and flossing. If you are experiencing symptoms such as occasional redness, bleeding, swelling of the gums, loose teeth, bad breath, and/ or deep pockets between the teeth and the gums, you may be in need of a cleaning.
